Mobile Tire Repair
The Tire Shop that Comes to You
Do you dread taking your car to the shop and wasting hours of your time as you wait in queue for your vehicle to be worked on? Or do you have a blown tire in the middle of nowhere and cannot make it to a tire shop? Imagine a standard sized work van that has all the amenities of a brick and mortar tire shop while being able to come to you at a time and location convenient to you. Here at Mobile Tire Rescue we are proud to announce that we are the only company in our area to fit a full size tire machine and wheel balancer in a standard wheelbase Ford van. This means if your vehicle is parked there, we can park there as well. Parking garages, busy street parking; you name it, we can get there. Value your time and call us today with either your tire size or the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and we will have our technicians load up your tire in that van and mount it at your location.

What we can fix
Mobile Tire Rescue can replace leaking rubber valve stems and valve cores, plug/patch holes on the tread of the tire that are 1/4 inch diameter or less, apply bead sealer to eliminate bead leaks, reseat the bead if the tire and rim are undamaged, and air up deflated tires. If your tire is deemed unrepairable, we will change it out with a matching tire from our inventory.
Tire issues that warrant a replacement

- Bulge on the sidewall of tire
- Sidewall separation/damage from driving heavily underinflated tire
- Nail or other sharp object embedded in tire sidewall or shoulder
- Hole greater than 1/4 inch diameter
- Exposed cords and belts
- Severely damaged tire bead
- Less than 2/32nd inch of tread
What to expect when the tech arrives
Upon arrival, our technician will park his van near your vehicle where it does not obstruct the flow of traffic around him and is safe to work from. One of the perks of our custom-fabricated vans is their ability to fit in normal parking spaces, giving our techs the versatility to work on your tire regardless of where your vehicle is parked. Upon parking the van, the technician will use an appropriate jack to safely raise the tire that needs changing. Most vehicles have designated lifting points such as pinch welds and lift posts. He will then remove your tire by using the correct size rim-protector socket to remove the lug nuts that secure your tire and rim onto your vehicle. These sockets are specifically designed to not scratch aluminum rims. If your rim has wheel locks, he will either use the key that you provide him, or his own to remove them. Once the tire is free from your vehicle, our tech will use the tire machine at the back of his van to dismount it from the rim. Before mounting the new tire, he will replace the valve stem ( rubber only ) and clean the bead area of the rim before applying a thick coat of bead sealer. Once the new tire is mounted, he will check to make sure its bead is properly seated and inflate it to the manufacturer recommended tire pressure. He will then balance the rim with the newly mounted tire, using the wheel balancer located inside his van. Once finished balancing, the tech will reinstall the tire back onto your vehicle, torquing the lug nuts to the manufacturer recommended spec. Finally, he will slowly lower the jack and move it out from underneath your car so that you can drive off to your destination.
